A Nakshatra is one of 27 lunar mansions in Vedic astrology. The Moon passes through all 27 in roughly 27 days. Your birth Nakshatra — determined by the Moon's position at the moment you were born — is traditionally associated with certain qualities. For example, Magha is associated with leadership, Rohini with creativity, Ashlesha with strategic thinking, and Anuradha with community building. Each Nakshatra has a ruling planet, an element, and four prescribed syllables.
